EMC Named Best Property/Casualty Company in Central Iowa for Fifth Year in a Row and Best Life Insurance Company Runner-Up

DES MOINES, Iowa (Sept. 24, 2021)—Again this year, and for the fifth year in a row, EMC Insurance Companies has been named the Best Property/Casualty Insurance Company in Central Iowa by the Des Moines Business Record in its annual “Best of Des Moines” survey. In addition, EMC National Life Company (EMCNL) was voted Best Life Insurance Company runner-up.

Business Record readers vote in an online, open-ended survey with more than 70 categories to determine the best businesses, people and organizations in Des Moines.

Previously, EMC was named Best Property/Casualty Company in 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017 and 2015, and finished as a runner-up in 2016, 2014, 2012 and 2011. EMCNL was named Best Life Insurance Company runner-up in 2017.
