EMC Leaders Win Two Awards from Technology Association of Iowa

DES MOINES, Iowa (Nov. 10, 2022)—Technology leaders at EMC Insurance Companies were recognized as winners of two awards at the Technology Association of Iowa's Prometheus Awards on Nov. 3, 2022. Katie Jones, Platform Engineering Manager, won Emerging Technology Leader of the Year and Joe Riesberg, Senior Vice President – Chief Information Officer, won CIO/CTO/CISO of the Year.

This was the 17th annual Prometheus Awards, which unite Iowa innovators and leaders from technology, business, education and government, to celebrate the year’s most momentous achievements.

“I am thankful to EMC Insurance Companies for embracing my authentic leadership style and I couldn’t be prouder of the milestones we’ve accomplished this year,” Riesberg said. “Truly, it’s the EMC team members who deserve these accolades. It’s the people who show up every day to lend their time and talents that drive our innovation projects forward. The Prometheus Awards are presented by the Technology Association of Iowa, a statewide, member- based organization that unites Iowa’s technology community by connecting leaders, developing talent, driving public policy, and fostering diversity and inclusion.
