EMC Appoints Ann Collins as Chief Financial Officer
DES MOINES, Iowa (March 30, 2021)—EMC Insurance Companies has announced the hiring of Ann Collins as senior vice president –chief financial officer. In this role, Collins will provide strategic financial analysis to EMC business partners, as well as oversee financial reporting to all external regulatory bodies.
Collins brings over 28 years of experience and expertise in the financial field. She joins EMC from Continental Western Group where she most recently served as CFO and senior vice president. There, she oversaw the finance team's comprehensive planning process, including modeling, forecasting and strategic thinking.
She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri, a Master of Business Administration degree from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, and holds a certified public accountant license.
