EMC Sponsors Des Moines Fight For Air Climb
DES MOINES, Iowa, Feb. 22 2019—EMC Insurance Companies today announced its presenting sponsorship of the 2019 American Lung Association Fight For Air Climb in Des Moines. This annual event, set for April 7, raises funds for lung cancer research and local programs to help people who suffer from lung disease. Event participants race up the stairs of one, two, three or four downtown Des Moines buildings—EMC, the Financial Center, Hub Tower and the Ruan Building—for a total of 85 floors and 1,796 steps.
“We support the communities where our team members work and live. The American Lung Association’s fundraising promotes clean air and healthy lungs, so EMC is proud to sponsor the Fight For Air Climb,” says Bruce Kelley, EMC president and chief executive officer. “Let’s all get behind this fun and inspiring event in April.”
EMC has been a long-time supporter of the Fight For Air Climb and has consistently had team members take part in the event. EMC is proud to be participating on a larger scale this year.
