Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holidays
Employees are eligible for PTO the first day of hire. PTO accrual is based on hours worked, years of employment and job grade. Paid holidays are: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving day and the day after, and two days at Christmas.
EMC believes in making the communities in which we live and work better places. The headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa, has a Volunteer Committee that arranges activities throughout the year—from warm clothing drives to Habitat for Humanity work days. Our branch offices across the country contribute to their local communities in similar ways.
All Home Office and branch locations offer employees the chance to participate in company and local events. Events include employee appreciation, sporting events, performing arts and discounts to local attractions.
EMC provides employees a benefit reimbursement program for expenses associated with the adoption of a child. To be eligible, the employee must have at least one year of continuous, full-time or part-time qualified service.
