What is Policyholder Access?
Policyholder Access is a secure site on emcins.com where personal insurance policyholders can view policy information, review billing statements, make a payment, report claims, print duplicate auto ID cards and more.

How do I sign up for Policyholder Access?
All policyholders were mailed a letter when Policyholder Access became available in their states, which included a registration key. New policyholders also receive this letter. All you need to sign up for Policyholder Access is an account number, the date of birth on your policy and the registration key found in your letter.

What do I do if I cannot find my online registration key?
If you have not received a letter, or if you have misplaced your registration key, you can request a registration key by following these steps:

  1. Click Login on the emcinsurance.com homepage
  2. Select Personal Insurance Policyholder on the left
  3. Select First time logging in?, located in the gray box
  4. Click Request Registration Key

What if I need help logging in or have questions about how to use Policyholder Access?
EMC has a dedicated toll-free number and email address for personal lines policyholders who need help: EMC Online Assistance, 800-988-1423, or onlineassistance@emcins.com. Hours are 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. CT, Monday-Friday.

Can I report a claim online?
Policyholders can report claims online as long as their agent participates in this service. To see if this service is available to you, log into Policyholder Access and see if the Report a Claim link is on your homepage. If it is, you have access to this service.

Can my agent sign me up for Policyholder Access?
No. It’s important that you sign up because you need to set up a user ID, password and security question/answer.
