Basic Equipment Loss Prevention Services

The following loss control services are available at no additional charge to policyholders who have equipment protection insurance through EMC Insurance Companies:

• Loss Prevention by Phone—Need to request an inspection? Have a technical question? HSB’s National Inspection Hotline is available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. (ET) at 800-333-INSP (4677). Messages can be left after hours, or you can fax your request to 800-298-4083. You can also request an inspection online at NSCINSP_HOTLINE@hsb.com.
• Online Information—Additional loss prevention information is available at hsb.com. Click Quick Links and Equipment Care for access to loss prevention, maintenance and engineering information.
• Jurisdictional Inspection Service—If your organization is located where inspections of certain equipment (such as boilers) are required by law, HSB will perform these required inspections to help you meet your legal obligations.
