Health Insurance
EMC offers generous health insurance coverage, with the premium largely paid for by EMC, which includes medical, prescription drug, vision and dental coverage. Full-time employees and part-time employees who work at least 20 hours a week are eligible the first day of the month following or coinciding with employment.

Short- and Long-Term Disability
EMC provides disability coverage at no cost to employees. Employees are eligible for short-term disability the first day of hire and are eligible for long-term disability the first day of the month following six months of active employment.

Wellness Programs
EMC is interested in the well-being of our employees and makes workplace wellness a priority. Des Moines employees can benefit from a free, on-site wellness center staff with health professionals; employees at other locations are eligible for fitness center membership reimbursement. Reimbursement is also available for weight loss management and smoking cessation programs. Our Employee Assistance Program provides employees and family members with access to free, confidential, professional services to help deal with a wide range of issues.
